The RJ Ibiza Travel Guide

The Best Restaurants, Beaches, Shopping & Hidden Gems We Discovered

After spending 10 incredible days hosting our Recreation Jewels pop-up in Ibiza's Old Town, we quickly realised there's so much more to the island than its famous nightlife.

Between running our pop-up at Rituality Ibiza, we made it our mission to explore as much of the island as possible. We asked locals, our customers, and fellow business owners for recommendations, and discovered some truly unforgettable places.

If you're planning a trip to Ibiza, here are some of our favourite restaurants, beaches, shopping spots and experiences that we'd recommend to anyone visiting.

The Best Restaurants in Ibiza

One of our favourite things about Ibiza was the food. Whether we were grabbing dinner after a busy day at the pop-up or exploring recommendations from customers, every meal seemed to be better than the last.

POM Thai Restaurant

If you're craving incredible Thai food, POM Thai Restaurant quickly became one of our favourites. The food was fresh, full of flavour and perfect after a long day exploring Ibiza.

La Bodega

La Bodega is a must-visit if you love tapas. Tucked away in Ibiza Old Town, it has a lively atmosphere, fantastic Spanish dishes and is the perfect place to spend an evening with friends.

La Oliva

Located in Dalt Vila, La Oliva offers beautiful Mediterranean food in one of the prettiest settings on the island. It's the perfect restaurant for a long summer dinner while watching the Old Town come alive.

La Torretta

Another restaurant we absolutely loved was La Torretta. The relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and beautiful surroundings made it one of our favourite places to return to during our stay.

La Paloma

One of our favourite discoveries actually came from our customers.

During our street interviews, we asked everyone where we should eat in Ibiza, and the restaurant that kept coming up was La Paloma. Safe to say, it lived up to the hype.

Nestled within a beautiful Mediterranean garden, it offers incredible fresh food in one of the most peaceful settings we visited during our trip. If you're looking for somewhere special, we couldn't recommend it more.

Shopping in Ibiza Old Town

As jewellery lovers, exploring the independent boutiques around Ibiza Old Town was one of the highlights of our trip.

Rituality Ibiza

Of course, our number one recommendation has to be Rituality Ibiza.

Not only was it home to our Recreation Jewels pop-up, but it's genuinely one of the most beautiful independent boutiques we've discovered. Unlike many tourist shops, Rituality focuses on thoughtfully curated collections, including stunning handmade dresses that are designed and made in Ibiza.

If you're looking to take home something truly unique from the island, Rituality Ibiza should definitely be on your list.

Visit Sant Jordi Flea Market

If you're visiting Ibiza on a Saturday morning, don't miss the Sant Jordi Flea Market.

It's one of the best places on the island to discover vintage treasures, unique clothing, handmade pieces and one-of-a-kind finds. Every stall has something different, making it easy to spend a few hours browsing.

Whether you're looking for fashion, homeware or souvenirs, it's one of our favourite shopping experiences in Ibiza.

The Most Beautiful Beaches in Ibiza

It's impossible to visit Ibiza without spending time at its incredible beaches.

Cala Comte

Our all-time favourite beach has to be Cala Comte.

The crystal-clear turquoise water honestly looks like something from the Caribbean. It's the perfect place to spend an afternoon swimming, relaxing and watching one of Ibiza's famous sunsets.

If you're only visiting one beach during your trip, we'd make it Cala Comte.

La Salinas

This visit, we also spent time at La Salinas and absolutely loved it.

We visited La Pluma, where we enjoyed a relaxed beach day surrounded by beautiful scenery. The atmosphere felt effortlessly stylish while still being incredibly laid-back—exactly what you imagine when you think of Ibiza.

Take a Day Trip to Formentera

If you have an extra day during your holiday, we highly recommend taking the ferry or hiring a boat to Formentera.

Just a short journey from Ibiza, Formentera is famous for its white sand beaches and unbelievably clear water. It feels like a completely different world and is one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited.

It's the perfect escape if you're looking for a slower pace while still enjoying everything the Balearic Islands have to offer.

You Never Know What's Going to Happen in Ibiza

One of the things we loved most about Ibiza is that every day feels completely different.

One evening, completely last minute, we found ourselves at Pacha, where the surprise guest DJ turned out to be Diplo. It perfectly summed up Ibiza—plans can change in an instant, and some of the best memories happen when you least expect them.

That's part of what makes the island so special.

Exploring Ibiza with Recreation Jewels

Our 10 days in Ibiza gave us so many unforgettable memories, from meeting incredible customers at our pop-up to discovering hidden restaurants, beautiful beaches and independent boutiques we'd happily visit again.

If you're planning your own Ibiza adventure, we hope some of these recommendations help you discover your own favourite spots.

And wherever your holiday takes you, from Cala Comte to Formentera, don't forget to pack jewellery that's made to keep up. Recreation Jewels' waterproof and hypoallergenic jewellery is designed for beach days, boat trips, sunset dinners and everything in between, so you never have to worry about taking it off.

We already can't wait for our next trip back to the White Isle.
