Finding your Recreation Jewels size should be simple.
Use our guide below to find the best fit for your rings, necklaces, chokers and bracelets.

RING SIZE GUIDE
Our rings are listed in US sizing, but we’ve included UK, EU, inside diameter and circumference conversions below to make finding your size as easy as possible.
The Quickest Way to Find Your Ring Size
Option 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own
Choose a ring that comfortably fits the finger you intend to wear your new Recreation Jewels ring on.
Place the ring flat and measure straight across the inside of the ring at its widest point, from inner edge to inner edge.
This measurement is the inside diameter.

What do these measurements mean?
Inside diameter
The distance straight across the inside of the ring, measured from one inner edge to the other.
Inside circumference
The total measurement around the inside of the ring.
EU size
EU ring sizing generally corresponds closely to the circumference of the ring in millimetres.
Option 2: Measure Your Finger
If you don't have a ring to measure, you can measure your finger instead.
- Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger where you intend to wear your ring.
- Make sure it sits comfortably against your skin without pulling it too tightly.
- Mark the point where the two ends meet.
- Lay the paper flat and measure the length in millimetres.
- Compare this measurement with the Inside Circumference column in our chart above.
For example:
Approximately 52mm circumference → US Size 6
Approximately 54mm circumference → US Size 7
Approximately 57mm circumference → US Size 8
Approximately 59–60mm circumference → US Size 9
Between Two Ring Sizes?
If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for the most comfortable fit.
Choosing a Chunky or Wider Ring?
The width and design of a ring can affect how it feels on your finger.
Wider bands, chunky styles and double-band rings naturally fit slightly more snugly than finer rings.
If you are between sizes when choosing one of these designs, we recommend sizing up.
A Note on Ring Fit
Your finger size can naturally change slightly throughout the day and depending on temperature.
For the most accurate result, we recommend measuring your finger when your hands are at a comfortable, normal temperature rather than particularly hot or cold.
You should also measure the specific finger you intend to wear the ring on, as finger sizes can vary between hands.
NECKLACE & CHOKER SIZE GUIDE
Every Recreation Jewels necklace and choker product page displays the exact chain length of that piece.
Use our necklace length guide as an indication of approximately where different chain lengths will sit.
Necklace Lengths
35cm / 14" — Choker
Designed to sit closely around the neck.
40cm / 16" — Short Necklace
Typically sits around the base of the neck.
45cm / 18" — Classic Necklace Length
A versatile everyday length that sits slightly lower.
50cm / 20" — Longer Necklace
Ideal worn alone or as part of a layered necklace look.
55–60cm / 22–24" — Long Necklace
Designed to sit lower on the chest.
Please note: Necklace placement will vary slightly depending on your individual neck circumference, body proportions and the design of the necklace.
Adjustable Necklaces
Many of our necklaces and all applicable adjustable styles include an extender chain.
This allows you to customise where your necklace sits and makes it easier to layer multiple Recreation Jewels pieces at different lengths.
The exact adjustable length will always be shown on the individual product page.
Love a Layered Necklace Look?
Combining different chain lengths helps each piece sit separately and keeps your necklaces visible.
A simple starting point is:
40cm + 45cm + 50cm
You can then adjust individual necklaces using their extender chains to create your preferred spacing.
BRACELET SIZE GUIDE
Exact bracelet measurements are listed on each individual product page.
Some Recreation Jewels bracelets are adjustable, while others are available in specific sizes.
How to Measure Your Wrist
Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist at the point where you would naturally wear your bracelet.
If you don't have a measuring tape, wrap a thin strip of paper or string around your wrist, mark where the ends meet and measure the length against a ruler.
For your preferred fit, we recommend allowing approximately:
+0.5cm — Close fit
+1cm — Comfortable everyday fit
+1.5cm — Looser fit
If the bracelet includes an extender chain, its full adjustable length will be listed on the product page.
BANGLE SIZING
Our sized bangles are measured across the inside of the bangle at its widest point, from the inside edge of the hinge to the inside edge of the clasp.
If you already know your Recreation Jewels size in our chain bracelets, we recommend using this as a starting point when choosing a sized bangle.
