Pilates in the Park 🧘💞

This Fringe, we're swapping the charm bar for the great outdoors. Recreation Jewels has teamed up with Sol Studio to bring you a 45-minute mat pilates class under the sky, right in the heart of one of Edinburgh's most-loved green spaces, followed by a wind-down stroll to Recreation Jewels HQ for a cool-down matcha, on us.

Whether you're taking a breather from Fringe chaos or just looking for a feel-good way to spend your Sunday, this is your sign to roll out a mat, stretch it out, and soak up some sunshine (fingers crossed) with us.

What to expect

Think: a 45-minute full-body mat pilates flow guided by the brilliant instructors at Sol Studio, surrounded by good company, good energy, and the buzz of Fringe season in the background. No pressure, no perfection required — just 45 minutes to move, breathe, and reset together.

Once the class wraps up, we'll walk it over to Recreation Jewels HQ, where a cool-down matcha will be waiting for everyone to sip and socialise before heading back out into the Fringe fun.

Good to know

• Doors (well, grass) open at 12:00pm, with last entry at 1:30pm
• Class runs for 45 minutes, followed by a short walk to Recreation Jewels HQ for your cool-down matcha
• Bring a mat if you have one, or grab a ticket with a mat included
• Dress comfortably and layer up, Scottish summer weather has a mind of its own
• All levels welcome, no experience necessary

Why we're doing this

Recreation Jewels has always been about more than jewellery, it's about building a community around the things we love, from charm bars to matcha to now, movement. Partnering with Sol Studio felt like the perfect way to bring that community outdoors during Fringe month, when Edinburgh is buzzing with energy and everyone could use a moment to pause.
