One of our most-loved summer traditions has returned.
For a limited time only during the Edinburgh Fringe, Treasure Hunt Tuesdays are back at Recreation Jewels, bringing a city-wide adventure, exciting prizes and a little friendly competition to the streets of Edinburgh.
If you're looking for free things to do in Edinburgh during the Fringe, this is an event you won't want to miss.
What Is Treasure Hunt Tuesday?
Every Tuesday throughout the Edinburgh Fringe, we'll hide one golden ticket somewhere in Edinburgh.
At 12pm sharp, we'll post a series of clues across our social media channels. From there, the race is on. Follow the clues, explore the city and see if you can be the first person to uncover the hidden golden ticket.
Once you've found it, simply send us a DM to let us know, then bring your golden ticket to Recreation Jewels before the end of the day to claim your prize.
What's New This Year?
If you've taken part before, you'll notice a few exciting changes.
In previous years, we hid three golden tickets every Tuesday. This year, we're making the challenge even more exciting by hiding just one golden ticket each week, meaning there will be a single winner every Tuesday.
To give as many people as possible the chance to take part, each customer can redeem one golden ticket throughout the Fringe season.
That means if you've already won once, it's time to cheer everyone else on while they hunt for theirs.
Weekly Prizes
Every week's treasure hunt will feature a different prize, so you'll never know exactly what you're searching for.
Some of the prizes up for grabs include:

How to Take Part
Taking part is simple:
- Follow Recreation Jewels on Instagram.
- Check our page at 12pm every Tuesday during the Fringe.
- Solve the clues and race to the hidden golden ticket.
- DM us as soon as you've found it.
- Bring your golden ticket into Recreation Jewels before the end of the day to claim your prize.
